Yael, an Australian living in New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael earned a bachelor's qualification from NIDA. Yael was fortunate to work with Australia's leading storytellers. She's worked behind the scenes on film, television as well as theatre. Yael is a renowned actor working in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's move to New York City began when the production received a prestigious review at Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael was co-founder at The Cannery. It is based at Bushwick Brooklyn and works from there to support the creative process, and to create new writing.
