Some of the worst stories can be found in a career that is dazzling. A winner of both the USA and World championships in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her current standing after a lot of struggle and immense patience. Born to a single mother within a household of five children, Jones had a difficult and impoverished childhood. Her mother had been constantly moving and she even lived within the basement. Jones had to attend the same high school each year because of her nomadic upbringing. Jones was able to move away from her mom to Theodore Roosevelt to enable her to focus on her interest in track. Jones was a member of four different families in order to ensure that she was studying at a high level. Jones received an award called the Gatorade Iowa Track & Field Athlete of the Year Award at school and was also an active member of the school orchestra as a cello player. Jones began her career in the NCAA as one of the best hurdlers. Jones was the winner of the 100-meter hurdles at the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. In addition, she was a part of the team who placed 2nd in the 100 meters relay. In 2003 and 2004, Jones was the winner of the hurdles indoor event at the NCAA Championship. Jones' career began with the year 2005, after she finished her degree. She began to train for a successful track career. That same year she was the winner of in the Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026, she won the Ostrava Track race and Heusden.
Brandt immigrated to Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the end of her teens. The talent of Brandt was discovered in Auckland by the local casting director Brandt. She took the part of Naevia in part of the Starz series Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She was among the most prominent actors in this series, working with Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi. Mazikeen was a cult comic book character on Vertigo/DC, and she played her on the Netflix popular series Lucifer for six years. Forbes recognized Lucifer at the end of 2021, as the show which had the largest quantity of people who watched it on a binge. Brandt's next performance will be in the six-episode Walking Dead spin-off in 2024, opposite Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurrira. Brandt's other Netflix productions include an animated adult show Captain Fall starring Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan, Jason Ritter, and Chris Meloni. This will air in July 2023. Lesley Brandt and her family relocated to Auckland in New Zealand in the year 1999. Her first job was in Auckland as a retail store owner before being elevated to an IT consultant. After several modeling assignments, Lesley appeared in many commercials. In 2008, she completed her majors and studied Meisner study methods. Lesley's first major acting gig was with the New Zealand TV series Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance on the New Zealand's television series Shortland Street acting as supporting actor. Later she appeared in a Sci-fi drama called This Is Not My Life based on the anecdotal city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt appeared as Naevia as a hostage who was a teenager in the Television Series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Her character was featured in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
